We spend A LOT of time in the kitchen throughout our lives. They are a gathering place for families and friends, so why not make sure that you're happy with yours! Redoing a kitchen does not have to be as major of an expense, as one might think. If your cupboards and cabinets are in good shape, you can just give them a face lift.

This kitchen just had the doors changed on the upper cabinets by the refrigerator and the entire wall of cabinet doors and drawer fronts. The island is out of Rustic Hickory, so we continued that around the room.
A small space beside a refrigerator, stove, or dishwasher that may seem non-functional, actually can be quite useful This little space became a pull out drawer for extra large pans or cookie sheets that may not fit into the under oven drawer.
The island top was replaced with this Maple Butcher Block with a walnut frame and inlay.
New Island, pantry cupboards around the refrigerator, and wainscoting around existing cupboards in the kitchen, all out of Red Oak made this family LOVE their "new" space. New hardwood floors completed this project for a more open and light atmosphere.
A distressed finish makes it complete Utilizing all space with pull out drawers for ease in those hard to reach places.
A different design of the cabinet allows the small kitchen to still be comfortable. The wall space behind the stove became a pantry with tall upper doors and a drawer below them. These Red Oak cupboards are stained darker. |
